Quick overview of our lacrosse season
KINDERGARTEN – MIDDLE SCHOOL
BOYS AND GIRLS TEAM
- Season starts in early January with practices for our 3rd-MS levels
- K-2 will start practices early February with games on Saturday morning/early afternoon.
- Games for 3rd-6th start the first week of March and span through mid-May
- Costs include season fees, US Lacrosse membership fee (paid to USA Lacrosse) and uniform fee (athlete supplies their own equipment).

HIGH SCHOOL
- Optional workouts are available for our HS program starting in early January.
- Mandatory practices start in mid-February
- Games start late February / early March and span through the month of May.
- Costs include season fees, US Lacrosse membership fee (paid directly to USA Lacrosse) and uniform fee (athlete supplies their own equipment).

OUR HISTORY
2017 (July): Founded with a simple mission – to act as the catalyst of lacrosse growth in Northern Kentucky.
2018 Spring: Raiders Lacrosse season #1 (Youth-MS program)
2018 Summer: Northern Kentucky Lacrosse Club (non-profit was founded) and Bluegrass Bulldogs was born (HS program)
2019: Bluegrass Bulldogs first season!
2020: COVID-19 Pandemic brought our season to a quick and unexpected end just as games were getting underway.
2021: Our HS program made it to the semi-finals of the CLL Playoffs! This was essentially our second season for HS.
Following 2021, Walton-Verona HS and Ryle HS launched programs for their students. Excited for this growth and seeing our vision start to take shape, we wish our players at these schools the very best as they act as ambassadors for the game within their schools.
2022: The Northern Kentucky Lacrosse Club is excited to share that our younger athletes (K-8) will join the HS level in naming as the Bluegrass Bulldogs!
First season for our girls team of 5th and 6th graders
2023: Growing the game even more this season to come! Cooper HS is launching their programs for their students.
Our girls team will expand this season to 2 teams! 5th/6th and 7th/8th.
2024: Growing the game with the girls side! Adding K-2, 3rd/4th to the mix this season!
