We are officially set-up with 2 teams for the Shootout for Soldiers 24-hour lacrosse event and we couldn’t be more excited to be able to participate.
We have to raise a total of $750 for each team as a minimum to participate. The club has already donated $100 towards each team for the initial registration. We are asking every player to donate $25 when they register for their respective team, and then go out and fundraise more. We are hoping that every individual player can raise at least $50.
Chris is working with a friend out of Columbus to design custom shorts and shooter shirts for the event to sell for additional fundraising and have for all our players.

SHOOTOUT FOR SOLDIERS – July 21-22 – Fundraising event benefiting our veterans – Open to all.
Some of our coaches will participate in the veteran game that kicks off this 24 hour lacrosse marathon.

- July 21-22 in Columbus, OH – Each team must raise a minimum total of $750. We’d love to challenge each player to a goal of $50 each (benefiting our veterans). More to follow.
- Shootout for Soldiers is a 24 hour lacrosse event benefiting American veterans. The event is fun. It’s not a tournament or about recruiting. The event is all about supporting those who serve our country. This event kicks off with a veteran’s game.
- Playing in the veteran’s game will be coach Tony, Coach Chris, Coach Steve and possibly others. It should be a fun day!
- Note that we won’t know the time of our games until the week prior. Since this is an around the clock event, our games could be scheduled anytime over the 24 hour period. While at this time, I can’t say for sure, I can’t imagine they would schedule children in the middle of the night.
