WEATHER
We will make a decision in regards to tonight’s (Saturday) practice at 2pm today. We will email and post on our Facebook pages. Since some are hit and miss with emails, please make sure to check our Facebook pages, too. You can find links to each below with our signature.
Please know that your safety is always our top concern. Should we move forward with practice this evening, you can certainly decide what is best for safety based on conditions in your area.
SPEED & AGILITY
Having sticks skills is only 1/2 the battle. Being physically fit for the demands of the game is the other 1/2. We have a great opportunity for players in grade 5-12 to get in on speed and agility training twice per week for 8 weeks. Presented by former NFL, Cincinnati Bengal player Brandon Tate has opened a facility in Florence and is offering 16-1 hour sessions for just $80 total. This really is a great deal with the level of training expected to be given.
Come and try this optional offering before you register! Open to those in grades 5-12 as a trial on Tuesday, Jan 15th with opportunities to register and continue training following this session.
Tuesdays
6-7pm: 5-7th graders
8-9pm: 8-12th graders
Thursdays
7-8pm: 5-7th graders
8-9pm: 8-12th graders
Parents must accompany athlete to the facility to sign waiver and attend informational meeting. See the following flyer for more information.
UNIFORMS
We will soon be preparing for uniform sizing and orders. Information of uniforms follows. Uniform fees are due at time of order.
Raiders –
- Uniforms consist of a jersey, a shooter shirt, shorts
- Cost is $85 for the full uniform.
- If your player already has a uniform, PLEASE have them try it on to ensure it fits. Individual pieces may be ordered as needed. Please check with us for individual piece pricing.
Bulldogs –
- Uniforms consist of 2 jerseys (white: home, navy: away) and navy shorts
- Cost is $125 for the full uniform
- * Jerseys will have names on the back
PRACTICE PINNIES
You may have noticed our Raider players have matching (reversible) practice pinnies at practices. These are optional for anyone interested. Details are as follows:
Raiders –
- Orange / white reversible – $20 each
- Logo on front (inside and out / number on back (inside and out)
Bulldogs –
- Navy / white reversible UA – $25 each
- Logo on front (inside and out / number on back (inside and out)
TEAM APP
We use Team App for our communication during the season. It proved to be a great resource this past year. If you were with us in 2018, please know we will disable to the Raiders apps and will be using one, unified NKY Lacrosse Club app for all.
